Vivaldi four seasons summer5/13/2023 If I still have problems, I transpose the shape to a higher part of the neck where frets are closer and do the same exercise. If I note that I cannot do it, I experiment with the position of my thumb, the lowest you position it the wider your stretch will be. No matter if I'm not pressing the frets enough, at first this is just a stretching exercise. I keep my fingers doing the position, I mean, in this case I would put my index finger in fret 5 and my pinky in 11th and keep it for some seconds. There is an exercise that I do when I have to play a chord or melodic idea that has a wide stretch that gives me problems. That's a really killer stretch that needs some practice to be achieved. any alternative or advice? Thanks in advance I'm having problems on the step 5, the third stretch 5th to 11th, my fingers are not big so they cannot reach the fret very well.
